Christopher Dixson has been using the Web since 1995, when he was a Computer Information Systems Analyst and resident Macintosh expert at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, California. Chris then spent five years as a Web Developer at Inside Out Design in New York where his clients included Xerox and International Paper, and he was part of the team that created the original TheStreet.com and Zagat Survey websites. Chris does Web development and programming for various clients as well as supporting the projects at kirstendixson.com.

Chris is an amateur (ham) radio operator with the call K1PRD (formerly KB1OMP) and is a member of the Port City Amateur Radio Club. He participates in ARES and is the Assistant Emergency Coordinator (AEC) for Information Technology with East Rockingham County ARES.
